RACING EXPERIENCE IS AIMING FOR MORE POINTS IN THE SECOND ROUND OF THE ADAC PROTOTYPE CUP GERMANY

Wednesday, 15th July 2022, Wormeldange-Haut, Luxembourg

The luxembourg-based team Racing Experience is willing to build on the success of their first round of the ADAC Prototype Cup Germany back in April, when german driver Sebastian Von Gartzen and Gary Hauser scored strong points with two 5th positions during the races.

After the long break packed with physical preparation, Sebastian Von Gartzen is eager to drive the LMP3 car again with Gary Hauser, who had a few more possibilties in the car during the last months, as he also drives with his wife Lea Mauer in the GT & Prototype Challenge.

Having done the roll-out with the new-built Duqueine D08 machine last Friday, the two drivers will compete in the second round of the ADAC Prototype Cup Germany this weekend on the sprint layout of the Nürburgring, Germany. Both drivers have not raced here in the LMP3 car yet, but both already have experience and success in former series at the famous “Green Hell”.

The race will be held during the Truck GP, where an attendance of more than 100.000 visitors can be expected.

Qualifying 1 will take place on Saturday, 16th July at 12:45 CET with Race 1 (60 Min.) closing this days’ race action at 15:45 CET.

Qualifying 2 is planned for Sunday, 17th July at 09:55 CET with Race 2 (60 Min.) starting at 14:55 CET.

Christian Hauser, Team Owner Racing Experience, said, “We are very looking forward to build on our success of the first weekend of the ADAC Prototype Cup Germany. The team and the drivers have had time to prepare this round and I am sure that both of them can show their talent here again – not far from home.”

Gary Hauser, Racing Experience driver, said, “I have never driven the LMP3 car on the Nürburgring. Last time I competed here was in German Formula 3 in 2010. I am happy to be back again and to push the LMP3 car to its limits. I am sure that we can do a strong result together with Sebastian – who already showed his pace in the first round!”

Sebastian Von Gartzen, Racing Experience driver said, “The last race was back in April and I do already miss racing this car! I couldn’t be happier to be back and I had enough time to prepare myself for the second round. The Nürburgring is my home track, as I already competed here in the 24h race, but with another car. Thankfully I have already had a testing opportunity last week here and I am feeling confident to hit the track!”
